| Step 1: | Download approval application |
| Step 2: | Fill up the Application completely and send it to BSS Programme Office, BSS TOWER, Bharathi Nagar First Main Road, Tambaram West, Chennai-63. India
The following documents are to be enclosed with the approval application :
- For Category Courses, Demand Draft Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. 20,000/- World skill council PSI Fee in favour of WORLD SKILL COUNCIL payable at New Delhi and Rs. 30,000/- in favour of BSS Programme Office, Chennai (or) Bharat Sevak Samaj, New Delhi). DD can be taken from any Nationalized Bank. For other countries, Demand Draft for 750 USD. Fee can be paid by online also.
- For School Courses, Demand Draft Rs. 70,000/- (Rs. 20,000/- World skill council PSI Fee in favour of WORLD SKILL COUNCIL payable at New Delhi and Rs. 50,000/- in favour of BSS Programme Office, Chennai (or) Bharat Sevak Samaj, New Delhi). DD can be taken from any Nationalized Bank. For other countries, Demand Draft for 1000 USD. Fee can be paid by online also.
- For specialised Courses, Demand Draft Rs. 90,000/- (Rs. 20,000/- World skill council PSI Fee in favour of WORLD SKILL COUNCIL payable at New Delhi and Rs. 70,000/- in favour of BSS Programme Office, Chennai (or) Bharat Sevak Samaj, New Delhi). DD can be taken from any Nationalized Bank. For other countries, Demand Draft for 1250 USD. Fee can be paid by online also.
- The Correspondent or Management may select SME Skill institute or Corporate Skill Institute instead of Public Skill institute (PSI).
- Your building agreement, If rental building, rental agreement.
- Fifty Rupees stamp paper (2 Nos) with Institution / Applicant name for Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU). For other countries, two Government Stamp Paper equivalent of 2 USD each.
- Photograph of infrastructure facilities like building, class rooms, and other facilities.
- Photo of Applicant (2 Copies).

| Step 3: | Scrutinisation of application by the Approval Committee and inspection of the Institution. BSS sends Inspection Committee Member to inspect your Place, Rs. 6,000/- (For Tamil Nadu) Rs. 10,000/- (For other states) to be given as Inspection Fee. No need to pay any extra charges. Inspection Committee Member should be treated well. Printed MOU will be sent to the institute with Temporary Approval. The Institution can start the courses by placing advertisement. |
| Step 4: | Signed MOUs should be returned to BSS Programme Office, Chennai (or) Central Bharat Sevak Samaj, New Delhi, India along with the copy of the prepared advertisement matter. |
| Step 5: | Approval Certificate along with approved advertisement will be sent to the Institution. |
| Step 6: | Signed MOU will be sent to the Institution from BSS. |
| Step 7: | The Institute should follow the "BSS Academic Year Chart" strictly. (See After Approval what to do in the Home Page) |
| Note: |
- In step 2, the correspondent can select 7 courses from a single category.
- If the correspondent wants to conduct more than 7 courses in the same category, additional Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) (or) 100 USD should be paid for each courses.
- If the management wants to run courses from more than one category, another Rs. 50,000/- or 750 USD should be paid. For each category, separate application should be used.
- School Courses are package courses. The Correspondent can run all courses which are available in the particular school
- If the correspondent wants to conduct more than one school courses, another Rs. 70,000/- (or) 1000 USD should be paid for each courses. For each school, separate application should be used.
- If the correspondent wants to conduct more than one specialised courses another Rs. 90,000/- (or) 1250 USD should be paid for each courses. If any additional courses from Specialised Course and School Course Rs. 10,000/- to be paid per Course
